The Laserliner LaserRange-Master Gi4 Mini Laser Rangefinder addresses this directly, delivering a typical precision of ±2 mm across an indoor measurement range of 0.05 m to 40 m. The instrument employs green laser technology at a wavelength of 515 nm, which provides outstanding visibility on target surfaces. Indirect height and distance determination is available via the built-in Pythagoras angle function, extending the device's capability beyond simple line-of-sight measurements. A selectable housing reference point gives the operator full control over the datum for each measurement, while continuous measurement mode allows rapid scanning across a surface. The display presents clear white figures against a black background for high legibility in varied lighting conditions. Despite its compact dimensions of 40 mm × 75 mm × 20 mm and a weight of just 49 g (including the battery pack), the device houses a lithium-ion battery rated at 3.7 V / 3.0 Ah / 11.1 Wh. To conserve power, the laser and then the device switch off automatically after brief periods of inactivity. The unit operates across a temperature range of -10 °C to 40 °C. Supplied complete with a Li-ion battery pack and a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, the LaserRange-Master Gi4 Mini is ready for immediate use from the box.
