Lucas Fusion AGM technology employs an Absorbent Glass Mat construction in which the electrolyte is held within tightly compressed glass fibre separators. This design eliminates free acid, dramatically improves charge acceptance, and provides the high cyclic stability required by vehicles using regenerative braking and advanced battery management systems. The sealed, valve-regulated construction also makes the battery maintenance-free and suitable for mounting in restricted or non-traditional positions.
