Product Number: 53033001
The Highway Automotive 53033001 (ME8288) is a blower unit designed as a direct replacement for the Mercedes Actros MP2/MP3, covering all variants fitted with the OM541 and OM542 engines. Built to restore correct cabin airflow and heating performance, it is suited to the demanding operating conditions of heavy commercial vehicle environments. As a product within the Highway Automotive range, this blower is engineered to meet the fit and function requirements of the original equipment it replaces. Its form factor and connector configuration are matched to the Actros MP2/MP3 platform, ensuring a straightforward installation without the need for modification. The unit arrives packaged securely in a 200 × 200 × 330 mm box and carries a gross weight of 1.4 kg, keeping it practical to handle during workshop fitment. These dimensions confirm compatibility with standard parts-storage and courier handling protocols common to commercial vehicle workshops. Buyers fitting this blower to the Mercedes Actros MP2/MP3 should verify their engine code — OM541 or OM542 — prior to ordering to ensure the correct variant is selected. With a single confirmed application on record, this is a precisely targeted replacement rather than a universal part.
