Air hose assemblies wear, kink, or degrade over time, leading to air flow loss and interrupted work. The PCL HA2142SF is a SuperFlex hose assembly comprising 15 metres of 9.5 mm (3/8") internal-diameter hose, fitted with an XF-Euro adaptor at one end and an XF-Euro coupling at the other, manufactured in Sheffield by PCL, part of HORNGROUP, with a manufacturing heritage dating to 1938.
The SuperFlex hose is designed to be extremely flexible and hard-wearing. It is highly resistant to ultra-violet light and a wide range of acids and alkalis, which contributes to a longer service life and suitability for a wider range of applications compared with standard hose assemblies. The anti-kink characteristics of the SuperFlex construction minimise kinking in use, which in turn reduces air flow loss during operation.
The XF-Euro adaptor-to-XF-Euro coupling configuration means both ends of the assembly use PCL's XF-Euro connection standard, making this assembly ready to connect directly into XF-Euro equipped airline systems. With a 15 m hose length and 9.5 mm bore, this assembly is suited to workshop and industrial compressed-air applications where reach and consistent flow are required.
