Workshop airlines take a beating — dragged across floors, kinked around corners, and left coiled on cold mornings. The Draper 31727 High Visibility Hybrid Air Hose is constructed from a combination of nitrile rubber and PVC to deliver a strong yet flexible airline that holds up under demanding workshop conditions. The hybrid construction is engineered to perform at temperatures as low as -40°C, making it well suited to unheated workshops and outdoor environments where conventional hoses can stiffen and lose flexibility. Critically, the hose is designed with no memory effect, meaning it lays flat after use rather than springing back into a coil — reducing trip hazards and making storage and retrieval noticeably more straightforward. The 5-metre hose measures 10mm in diameter and is fitted with 1/4" BSP female swivel unions at each end, allowing straightforward connection to standard workshop air tools and compressor outlets without the need for adaptors. The high-visibility blue colouring ensures the hose is easily seen across a busy workshop floor. This hose is a practical, durable choice for professional workshops, garage environments, and industrial applications where reliable low-temperature performance and ease of use are priorities.
