Variations
A retracting hose reel that tangles, kinks or snaps back under tension creates real risk in a busy workshop. The PCL HRA3M02 Workshop Prestige Hose Reel is designed for use with compressed air in garages, workshops and industrial applications, carrying 18 metres of 12 mm internal-diameter Rubber/PVC hose on a 1/2" BSPT inlet connection — the largest reel in the Prestige range.
Safety is a central design consideration. The reel features a slow-retracting mechanism that takes nine seconds to complete a full retraction, preventing accidental loss of hose control and reducing the risk of injury or damage to personnel and equipment. Auto retract is standard, storing the hose neatly without kinks or tangles and eliminating manual coiling between tasks.
A hose stop allows the hose to be held in any extended position and is adjustable at the flick of a lever — PCL describe this as an industry-first time-saving feature. Built-in cleaning brushes are included as standard to prevent debris being drawn back into the reel, protecting the layering system from premature failure. The reel is available with different hose lengths and diameters to suit varying user requirements.
PCL manufacture from their Sheffield facility and have done so since 1938, operating as part of HORNGROUP.
