Protecting round workpieces from marring or scratching is a common challenge when working with pliers, and KNIPEX addresses this directly with the 87 09 250 V01 plastic protective jaw set. Designed for use with all KNIPEX 87 XX 250 models manufactured from 2007 onwards, these protective jaws cover all of the teeth on the tool, preventing the gripping surfaces from causing surface damage to delicate or finished components. Fitting is designed to be straightforward and reliable. The protective jaws locate easily onto the gripping jaws and hold firmly in place during use. The smooth gripping surfaces, which carry no teeth, ensure that round workpieces are held securely without risk of marking. This set supplies three pairs of plastic protective jaws, providing coverage across multiple tools or giving the professional workshop a ready supply of replacements. Compatibility is confirmed for all KNIPEX 87 XX 250 models from 2007, making it straightforward to identify the correct set for the tools already in use.
