A cable tie is a temporary answer to a permanent question - fixed runs need a bolted, lined clip.
JCS describes its P-clips as suited to the most challenging environments, and the PCSR9BG carries that specification at 9mm closed diameter: a standard TPE liner rated -30C to +60C, UV and ozone resistant, wrapped in a ribbed band that bolts flush through a 6.6mm M6 fixing hole. Fixings are not supplied - pair it with your standard M6 hardware.
In 304 stainless (18/8, EN 1.4301), this is the version for runs that live outside or around moisture - the liner shrugs off UV and ozone, and the band will not rust where a plated clip eventually would. Dimensions are identical to the zinc version, so the mounting interchange is direct. The standard liner's -30C to +60C rating covers general routing duty; where temperatures climb higher, the dimensionally identical high-temperature version takes over.
Also available - the high-temperature liner version (PCSH9BG); the zinc plated version (PCZR9BG); the 8mm size (PCSR8BG); the 10mm size (PCSR10BG).

A. P-clips are sized by closed diameter, and this one closes at 9mm - so it suits a pipe, hose or cable with a 9mm outside diameter. Measure the OD, not the bore; non-standard sizes are available from JCS on request. That is approximately 3/8 in, if you work in imperial.
A. The standard TPE liner absorbs vibration and prevents chafing of the item being clamped. It is UV and ozone resistant and rated for service from -30C to +60C.
A. Pick by environment, not fit: 304 stainless for outdoor, wet or corrosive runs, zinc plated (coated even on the cut edges) for general indoor and light industrial work. The two are dimensionally identical, so the mounting never changes.
A. The TPE liner is UV and ozone resistant, and the clip is available in heavily zinc plated steel or 304 stainless steel for outdoor and corrosive environments - choose stainless where conditions are persistently wet, and match the closed diameter to the tube you are fixing.
A. Yes - the design brief covers pipes, hoses and cables alike. The liner cushions the sheath against chafe and vibration, which matters as much on an armoured cable or air line as on a coolant hose. Size by outside diameter.
