Product Number: PCSR8BG
Every unsecured run of pipe, hose or cable is a failure waiting for a corrugation, pothole or engine harmonic.
Sized at 8mm closed diameter with a 6.6mm hole for an M6 bolt, the PCSR8BG fixes pipes, hoses and cables to panels, frames and structures. Its standard TPE liner - rated -30C to +60C - cushions the line against vibration and chafe and resists UV and ozone, while the ribbed band sits flush to the surface it is bolted to. Nuts and bolts are not included.
The band is 18/8 marine-quality 304 stainless steel (EN 1.4301, BS304), the right specification for outdoor, wet and corrosive environments - and because JCS makes the zinc and stainless versions to identical dimensions, you can switch material without changing your mounting. The standard liner's -30C to +60C rating covers general routing duty; where temperatures climb higher, the dimensionally identical high-temperature version takes over.
Also available - the high-temperature liner version (PCSH8BG); the zinc plated version (PCZR8BG); the 6mm size (PCSR6BG); the 9mm size (PCSR9BG).
Non-standard sizes and liners are available from JCS on request - this catalogue size is the stocked, off-the-shelf format.

A. P-clips are sized by closed diameter, and this one closes at 8mm - so it suits a pipe, hose or cable with a 8mm outside diameter. Measure the OD, not the bore; non-standard sizes are available from JCS on request. That is approximately 5/16 in, if you work in imperial.
A. The standard TPE liner absorbs vibration and prevents chafing of the item being clamped. It is UV and ozone resistant and rated for service from -30C to +60C.
A. Pick by environment, not fit: 304 stainless for outdoor, wet or corrosive runs, zinc plated (coated even on the cut edges) for general indoor and light industrial work. The two are dimensionally identical, so the mounting never changes.
A. The TPE liner is UV and ozone resistant, and the clip is available in heavily zinc plated steel or 304 stainless steel for outdoor and corrosive environments - choose stainless where conditions are persistently wet, and match the closed diameter to the tube you are fixing.
A. Yes - JCS P-clips are designed for fixing pipes, hoses and cables, with the lined band protecting a cable sheath - armoured or otherwise - from chafing while absorbing vibration. Match the closed diameter to the cable's outside diameter.
