Loose lines chafe, vibrate and fail - the fix is a lined clip that holds them still without cutting in.
JCS describes its P-clips as suited to the most challenging environments, and the PNSH36BG carries that specification at 36mm closed diameter: a TPE160 high-temperature liner rated -50C to +160C, UV and ozone resistant, wrapped in a ribbed band that bolts flush through an 8.8mm M8 fixing hole. Fixings are not supplied - pair it with your standard M8 hardware.
The M8 range is the step up in fixing strength - same lined-clip principle, bigger bolt. In 18/8 304 stainless it serves outdoor and corrosive duty, with the TPE160 high-temperature liner fitted as standard across the range. JCS recommends letting the application decide the specification - what the line carries, the temperatures it sees, and how corrosive the environment is. The closed diameter of 36mm should match the outside diameter of the pipe, hose or cable being fixed, not its bore.
Also available - the zinc plated version (PNZH36BG); the 32mm size (PNSH32BG); the 40mm size (PNSH40BG).
Non-standard sizes and liners are available from JCS on request - this catalogue size is the stocked, off-the-shelf format.

A. P-clips are sized by closed diameter, and this one closes at 36mm - so it suits a pipe, hose or cable with a 36mm outside diameter. Measure the OD, not the bore; non-standard sizes are available from JCS on request.
A. The TPE160 high-temperature liner absorbs vibration and prevents chafing of the item being clamped. It is UV and ozone resistant and rated for service from -50C to +160C.
A. The TPE liner is UV and ozone resistant, and the clip is available in heavily zinc plated steel or 304 stainless steel for outdoor and corrosive environments - choose stainless where conditions are persistently wet, and match the closed diameter to the tube you are fixing.
A. Yes - the design brief covers pipes, hoses and cables alike. The liner cushions the sheath against chafe and vibration, which matters as much on an armoured cable or air line as on a coolant hose. Size by outside diameter.
A. A hose clip makes a joint seal; a P-clip makes a run stay put. If the problem is a leak at a fitting, you want a hose clip - if the problem is a line that moves, chafes or rattles, you want this.
