When a fleet of machines shares one clip size, the stores bin needs depth - and a clip specification that holds across every fitment.
Worm drive clips seal by drawing the band evenly through a captive screw housing, and the HGZ25BP adds the JCS details that make that reliable - a 17-25mm adjustment span, a cold-headed, work-hardened hex screw with rolled threads that will not round off, and fully rounded band edges. Recommended tightening torque for this size is 5.0 Nm (45 lb-in). Manufactured to exceed BS5315, Kitemarked and NATO approved.
The bulk pack of 10 is the stores format for fleets, production and hire equipment running the same size across many machines. The clip itself is unchanged: heavily electro zinc plated and passivated mild steel, EN9227 tested, plated after cutting so even the band's cut edges are coated - for domestic, automotive and industrial duty in non-corrosive conditions.
Also available - the same clip as a retail carton (HGZ25RP); the same clip as a 5-pack (HGZ25PM1); the 14-22mm size (HGZ22BP); the 22-30mm size (HGZ30BP).

A. This size spans 17-25mm of fitted hose outside diameter. Measure the hose over its fitting, not the bare bore - anywhere inside 17-25mm and the HGZ25BP is the right clip. One JCS size covers a span that would take two fixed nut-and-bolt clamps. In imperial terms that is roughly 11/16 to 1 in, covering common 3/4 and 7/8 in hose sizes.
A. JCS recommends 5.0 Nm (45 lb-in) for this size. Position the clip centrally over the hose barb and tighten incrementally to that torque - over-tightening can damage the hose.
A. JCS advises against zinc plated clips in marine conditions, where they can corrode or seize. For boats and other saltwater environments use Hi-Grip Stainless, which is 18/8 marine-quality 304 stainless steel with Lloyd's Register Type Approval.

The answers drive material choice - zinc plated for general non-corrosive use, stainless for corrosive environments - then match the clip's range to the fitted hose diameter.
A. The screw is cold-headed and work-hardened with a sharply defined hexagon and rolled threads to resist slipping and rounding. For high-vibration applications JCS recommends rechecking the clip after use to maintain seal integrity.
