Door work is the recurring job on this leaf and it has a fixed sequence. The door is supported, the hinge pins come out, the door is removed, and it goes back on with the pins driven home and the alignment reset. Each of those steps has a tool that does nothing else. Working out of that order is how a door ends up damaged on the way off rather than on the way back.
Restraining bars hold the door while the pins are worked, which stops it dropping the moment the last pin moves. Pin extractors at 4 pieces and heavy-duty hinge pin sets drive pins that have been in place for years and will not move by hand.
Door skin work is a different operation again. A folding tool at 320mm turns the edge of a new skin over the frame evenly, and a crimping tool does the same by clamping rather than hammering, which leaves a cleaner edge. Sykes hold a door skinner crimping tool alongside the Sealey folding tool at the same stage.
Panel bags hold a panel in place while it is fitted, and filler applicators in a 4 piece set spread body filler evenly rather than in ridges. A lithium-ion plastic repair tool welds a plastic component rather than replacing it. Send the job to 07754288583 on WhatsApp. A door lock removal tool for VAG is held for the locks that will not come out any other way.
