Tracking down system leaks in air intake, cooling, evaporation, fuel, exhaust, and vacuum systems is time-consuming without the right equipment, costing your workshop valuable labour time. The Sealey VS869 EVAP and smoke leak detector lets technicians pinpoint leaks quickly and cleanly, connecting directly to a 12V vehicle battery and delivering smoke through a 1,600mm hose at up to 15psi maximum input pressure. With both EVAP and smoke modes selectable via a flow control valve, the VS869 is fast to set up and straightforward to use. The 10ml oil reservoir produces consistent smoke, and the kit is supplied with a cone adaptor, power cord clamp, valve core wrench, test oil refill bottle, smoke hose, EVAP connector, universal airbag adaptor, and eight rubber blanking cones covering sizes 5-10, 9-15, 14-19, 18-26, 25-35, 32-45, 45-60, and 60-75mm giving broad coverage across vehicle system diameters. The unit weighs 2.22kg. Note: mineral oil is not included.
