Constructed from Chrome Molybdenum steel the extension bar offers the strength and resilience required for repeated impact use. An anodised aluminium colour coded ring provides fast reliable identification when selecting from a set of torque sticks reducing the risk of reaching for the wrong torque value under workshop conditions. The tool also features a twist distortion marking that allows the user to check the serviceability of the stick and confirm it has not been damaged beyond its operational limits. The 70446 accepts a standard 1/2-inch square drive and is rated at 90Nm making it suited to a range of wheel nut and general fastening applications where a specific torque value must be respected. It is compatible with both air and electric impact wrenches fitting naturally into professional automotive and workshop workflows where speed and accuracy must be balanced.
