Tightening fasteners to an incorrect torque can result in joint failure or component damage — a click-type torque wrench removes the guesswork from the process. The Draper 78642 uses click-type operation combined with micrometer adjustment, allowing the user to set and apply the correct torque value with confidence. Once the pre-set torque is reached, the tool produces a distinct click to indicate that the target has been met, preventing over-tightening. The marked torque value range runs from 30 to 210Nm covering a broad spread of fastener specifications commonly encountered in automotive and workshop applications. Drive size is 1/2"" square drive compatible with standard 1/2"" drive sockets. Operation is clockwise right-hand thread torque application only which should be considered when selecting this wrench for a given task. The wrench is supplied in a blow mould case providing structured protection during storage and transport and helping to maintain calibration integrity when the tool is not in use. The case also ensures all components are kept together between jobs.
