Product Number: 16731
Keeping sockets securely engaged in deep or restricted spaces demands a reliable extension bar, and the Draper Expert 16731 delivers exactly that for 3/8" square drive applications. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, chrome plated and polished, the bar resists corrosion while withstanding the demands of professional workshop use. A knurled ring is machined around the bar to provide extra grip when fitting or removing the extension by hand — particularly useful in confined engine bays or when working at awkward angles. Socket retention is handled by a spring-loaded ball bearing, which holds the attached socket securely in place during use and reduces the risk of sockets dropping into inaccessible areas. At 250mm in length, the bar is suited to reaching fasteners set deep within assemblies without sacrificing the control needed for accurate torque application. The extension bar is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN3122 and ISO3315 specifications, providing a recognised benchmark for dimensional and performance quality. Supplied as a single 3/8" square drive extension bar.
Expert Quality, manufactured from chrome vanadium steel hardened and tempered with a polished finish. Each ext. bar has a knurled ring for extra grip. Attached with a spring - loaded ball bearing for secure socket holding.
