Locating and securing fasteners across a range of head types demands a socket set that can handle hexagon, bi-hexagon and TX-STAR® fixings without a tool change. The Draper Expert 16479 Multi-Drive® socket set meets that need by combining 13 chrome vanadium steel sockets with a comprehensive accessory kit, all built to 1/4" square drive and conforming to DIN3122 and ISO3315 specifications. Each socket is machined from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered and finished with a micro satin surface. The Multi-Drive® form allows every socket to engage hexagon, bi-hexagon (metric and AF) and Draper TX-STAR® fixings, and a knurled ring on each socket body provides positive grip when fitting and removing by hand. The 72-tooth reversible ratchet features a soft grip handle and quick-release button for efficient working in confined spaces. The 43-piece set contains 13 metric sockets (4 to 14 mm), two wobble extension bars (50 mm and 100 mm), a flexible extension bar, a sliding T-bar, a universal joint, a spinner handle, and a 1/4" bit holder. Insert bits cover plain slot (3, 4.5, 7 mm), cross slot (No.1–3), PZ-type (No.1–3), seven Draper TX-STAR® sizes (T8–T40) and six hexagonal bits (3–8 mm). The complete set is housed in a tough plastic storage case fitted with a soft grip handle, keeping all components organised and protected on the workbench or in transit.
