Workshop fastener work demands tools that can reach recessed fixings, drive a wide range of fastener heads, and maintain accuracy under load. The Draper Expert 16448 75-piece combined socket set meets that brief with six-point sockets machined from chrome vanadium steel, hardened and tempered for durability, and finished with a micro satin surface treatment. Each socket features a knurled ring for secure handling when selecting and fitting sockets by hand. The set covers 12 metric socket sizes from 4 to 13mm and 10 metric deep socket sizes from 4 to 13mm, alongside 9 imperial socket sizes from 3/16 to 1/2 inch and 6 imperial deep socket sizes from 3/16 to 1/2 inch — all on a 1/4 inch square drive. Drive control is provided by a 72-tooth reversible ratchet with soft grip handle, quick release button, and spinner handle. Three wobble extension bars at 50, 100, and 150mm, a flexible 150mm extension bar, a sliding T-bar, a universal joint, and a flexible handle complete the drive accessories. The bit selection extends the set's versatility further: 4 plain slot bits, 3 cross slot bits, 3 PZ-type bits, 9 Draper TX-STAR® bits covering T7 through T30, 6 metric hex bits from 3 to 8mm, and 3 imperial hex bits from 1/8 to 1/4 inch. A 1/4 inch square drive to 1/4 inch hex bit adaptor links the drive train to the bit selection. Sockets and accessories are manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN3122 and ISO3315 specifications. The complete set is housed in a tough plastic storage case with soft grip handle.
