The Draper 16366 38-piece metric socket set provides a comprehensive selection of drive accessories in a single organised package, reducing the need to source individual components separately. Each of the 13 six-point sockets is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened tempered and finished with a satin coating in accordance with DIN3122 and ISO3315 specifications. The six-point design concentrates driving force on the flat faces of a fastener rather than the corners reducing the risk of rounding. Drive is delivered through a 72-tooth reversible ratchet fitted with a soft grip handle and a quick-release button allowing rapid socket changes and precise positioning in confined spaces. The set is built around a 1/4 inch square drive and includes two extension bars at 50mm and 150mm a sliding T-bar and a universal joint for off-axis access. The bit socket range extends capability further: three plain slot bits (4 5.5 6.5mm) three PZ-Type bits (No.1 No.2 No.3) seven Draper TX-STAR® bits (T10 T15 T20 T25 T27 T30 T40) and seven hex bits (2.5 3 4 5 6 7 8mm) cover the fastener types most commonly encountered in automotive mechanical and general workshop environments. The complete set is packed in a steel carrying case for organised storage and safe transport between workstations.
