Accurate fastener work demands tools that hold position under load, and the Draper Expert 44-piece 1/4" square drive metric socket set is engineered to meet that requirement across a broad range of workshop and automotive applications. Every socket in the set is six-point, manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that is hardened and tempered, then finished with a micro satin coating to resist corrosion and reduce glare. A knurled ring on each socket provides positive grip when fitting or removing by hand, minimising fumbling in confined spaces. The set includes 10 standard sockets covering 4 to 13mm and 6 deep sockets from 6 to 13mm. Drive accessories comprise a 72-tooth reversible ratchet with soft grip handle and quick release button, a spinner handle, two wobble extension bars at 50mm and 150mm, a sliding T-bar, a universal joint, and a 1/4" square drive to 1/4" hex bit adaptor. Twenty-one insert bits are supplied: three plain slot (3, 5, 5.5mm), three cross slot (No.1–3), three PZ-type (No.1–3), five hex (3, 4, 5, 6, 8mm), and seven Draper TX-STAR® bits covering T10, T15, T20, T30, T35, T40 and T45. The set is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN3122 and ISO3315 specifications, and is packed in a tough plastic storage case for organised access and safe transport.
