Achieving reliable torque on metric fasteners demands sockets that resist rounding and withstand repeated high-load use. The Draper 16362 HI-TORQ® Metric Socket Set addresses this with six-point sockets machined from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, and finished with a satin chrome plate for corrosion protection. The six-point geometry concentrates drive force on the flats of a fastener rather than its corners, reducing the risk of rounding under load. The set is built around a 72-tooth reversible ratchet featuring a soft grip handle and a quick-release button for rapid socket changes. Two extension bars — 125 mm and 250 mm — allow access to recessed fasteners while the universal joint and the 'T' bar adaptor (1/2"" female by 3/8"" male) extend the versatility of the drive setup across different configurations. Contents comprise 16 metric sockets (10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 21 22 24 27 30 and 32 mm) three spark plug sockets (thread sizes 10 12 and 14 mm) two extension bars one universal joint and one 'T' bar adaptor — 24 pieces in total. The set is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN3122 and ISO3315 specifications. All components are stored in a plastic carry case for organised access and transport on site.
