The Elora 15356 19-piece metric socket set answers that need with components manufactured from chrome vanadium steel, hardened, tempered, and chrome plated for corrosion protection throughout the service life of the set. The set is built around a reversible ratchet fitted with a Quatrolit® soft grip handle, providing controlled torque application with directional flexibility. Two extension bars — 125mm and 250mm — allow access to recessed fasteners, while the included sliding 'T' bar and universal joint extend the versatility of the drive setup for angled and awkward positions. Fourteen bi-hexagon metric sockets are supplied, covering sizes 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 22, 24, 27, 30 and 32mm on a 1/2-inch square drive. Bi-hexagon form engages fasteners at more rotational positions than a standard hex profile, reducing the risk of rounding on worn fixings. All sockets and drive tools are manufactured to DIN 3120/ISO 1174, DIN 3122/ISO 3315, DIN 3123/ISO 3316 and DIN 3124/ISO 2725 specifications. The complete set is housed in a heavy-gauge steel storage case with a plastic insert to locate each component securely, supporting workshop organisation and protecting the finish between uses.
