Sockets are manufactured from heat treated Chrome Vanadium steel with a fully polished black chrome finish and machined and lacquered surfaces. The S2 steel spline bits carry a phosphate finish for durability. A knurled ring on each socket aids grip when hands or surfaces are oily.
