The Draper 7014 Expert Impact Extension Bar is forged from chrome molybdenum steel, then hardened, tempered and chemically blacked to deliver both impact resistance and corrosion protection in demanding workshop environments. The bar accepts and retains sockets securely via a spring-loaded ball bearing mechanism, which holds the socket firmly in place during use and reduces the risk of disengagement in awkward working positions. The 1/4 inch square drive sizing makes it well suited to lighter fastening tasks, precision work and access into tighter spaces where larger drive formats cannot reach. At 150mm in length, the bar provides a useful reach extension between ratchet or impact driver and socket without introducing excessive flex or play. The chrome molybdenum steel construction ensures the bar is engineered to handle the torsional stresses associated with impact use rather than hand-tool use alone. The product is supplied display packed and is sold as a single extension bar.
