The deep-profile body extends the working depth, allowing engagement with recessed or deeply set fasteners that would otherwise be inaccessible with a shallow socket. Constructed from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened and tempered, the socket offers the structural integrity required for demanding workshop use. A polished finish is applied throughout, providing corrosion resistance and a clean working surface. Each socket also features a knurled ring, which gives the user a positive, secure grip when fitting or removing the socket by hand. The 12-point internal geometry is compatible with both hex and double-hex fastener heads, broadening the range of applications the socket can serve. The 3/8" square drive connects to any standard 3/8" drive ratchet, extension bar, or breaker bar. Manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3124 and ISO 2725-1 specifications, the socket meets recognised dimensional and performance standards. Supplied as a single 14mm socket, it is suited to professional workshop, automotive, and industrial use.
