Achieving a secure, deep-reach fastening demands a socket that combines precise geometry with robust construction. The Draper Expert HI-TORQ® 12 Point Deep Socket (1/2" Sq. Dr., 13mm) is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that is hardened and tempered, then finished with a polished chrome surface to resist corrosion and aid cleaning in workshop conditions. The 12 point profile increases the number of engagement positions on a fastener, allowing the socket to be repositioned more easily in confined spaces. The extended deep profile accommodates bolt studs and recessed fasteners that a standard-depth socket cannot reach. A knurled ring is incorporated around the body to provide a positive grip when fitting or removing the socket by hand. This socket is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3124 and ISO 2725-1 specifications, confirming dimensional and performance conformance to recognised international standards. Supplied as a single 13mm socket with a 1/2" square drive, it is compatible with any 1/2" drive handle, extension bar, or torque wrench.
