The Draper Expert 16746 Satin Chrome Wobble Extension Bar addresses this with a machined wobble end that allows a socket to be driven at up to 15° to the vertical, giving access to recessed or offset fasteners without the need to reposition the workpiece. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered and finished with a micro satin chrome plating, the bar is built for durability and resistance to corrosion in demanding workshop environments. A knurled ring is machined into the body to provide a secure, positive grip when fitting or removing sockets by hand. The socket is retained on the drive end by a spring-loaded ball bearing, preventing accidental disengagement during use. The bar is supplied in 3/8 in. square drive and measures 250 mm in overall length, making it suited to medium-reach applications across engine bays, chassis work and general mechanical assembly. Manufacture and testing are carried out generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, confirming the bar meets recognised dimensional and performance standards for professional hand tools.
