The Draper Expert 16744 Satin Chrome Wobble Extension Bar addresses this with a machined wobble end that allows the socket to be driven at up to 15° to the vertical, opening access to recessed or offset fasteners that a rigid bar cannot reach. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, and finished with a micro satin chrome surface, the bar is built for the durability and corrosion resistance expected in professional workshop use. A knurled ring is machined into the body to provide a positive grip when inserting or withdrawing the bar in confined spaces. The 3/8" square drive socket is retained securely by a spring-loaded ball bearing, preventing accidental disengagement during use. The 16744 is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, confirming conformance to recognised industry standards for extension bars of this drive size. The 150 mm length strikes a practical balance between reach and rigidity for a wide range of under-bonnet and workshop applications. Supplied as one extension bar.
