Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that is hardened and tempered, the socket is finished with a polished chrome plating that resists corrosion and simplifies cleaning in a workshop environment. A knurled ring around the body provides positive manual grip when attaching or removing the socket from the drive, reducing the risk of drops during tool changes. The socket accepts a 3/8" square drive and is sized at 17mm, suiting a wide range of metric fastener applications. Manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3124 and ISO 2725-1 specifications, the socket meets recognised international standards for dimensional accuracy and performance.
