The Draper 16428 addresses this with a 72-tooth mechanism, reducing the arc required to re-engage and giving finer control in confined spaces where swing is restricted. Forged from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered and finished with a satin chrome plate, the ratchet is built for sustained workshop use. The lever-operated forward/reverse selector allows directional changes without removing the tool from the fastener, while the quick-release mechanism enables rapid socket swaps. A spring-loaded ball bearing retains the socket securely throughout operation. The soft grip handle reduces hand fatigue during extended use. The ratchet carries a 3/8-inch square drive and is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN3122 and ISO3315 specifications. Supplied as a single unit.
