The Draper 24228 HI-TORQ® Metric Socket and Bit Set addresses that requirement with 58 pieces covering the most frequently encountered drive and bit sizes on a single 3/8" square drive platform, all housed in a sturdy plastic storage case. At the core of the set is a 72-tooth quick release ratchet fitted with a soft grip handle for sustained comfort during use. The fine-tooth mechanism reduces the arc required between ratchet strokes, making it well suited to restricted access situations. Drive force is transmitted through 18 6-point HI-TORQ® sockets spanning 6–24 mm and 9 6-point HI-TORQ® deep sockets from 8–19 mm, with 16 mm and 21 mm spark plug sockets also included. All sockets are manufactured from chrome vanadium steel with a satin chrome finish. The 24 socket bits are manufactured from chrome vanadium steel with a shot blasted finish and cover Pozi (PZ1, PZ2), Phillips (PH1, PH2, PH3), TX-STAR® (T10–T55), Hex (H3–H10), and Slotted (5.5, 7, 8 mm) profiles. Reach is extended by 75 mm and 250 mm extension bars. A universal joint and a 1/2" Sq. Dr. (F) to 3/8" Sq. Dr. (M) three-way adaptor complete the accessory complement, adding drive-size versatility to the set.

A. The 24 socket bits cover five profiles: Pozi (PZ1, PZ2), Phillips (PH1, PH2, PH3), TX-STAR® (T10, T15, T20, T25, T30, T40, T45, T50, T55), Hex (H3, H4, H5, H6, H7, H8, H10), and Slotted (5.5, 7, 8 mm).
A. The HI-TORQ® sockets and deep sockets are manufactured from chrome vanadium steel with a satin chrome finish. The socket bits are also chrome vanadium steel, finished with a shot blast treatment.
A. A 3/8" square drive quick release ratchet with a 72-tooth mechanism and soft grip handle is included. The 72-tooth design allows the ratchet to operate in tighter arcs than lower-tooth-count alternatives.
