Constructed from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, chrome plated and polished, the joint delivers the durability and corrosion resistance expected of professional workshop tooling. A spring-loaded ball bearing mechanism retains sockets securely during use, reducing the risk of sockets disengaging mid-task. The 16818 is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, providing assurance of consistent dimensional and performance standards.
