The bi-hexagon profile delivers a positive engagement across a wider range of fastener conditions, and the chamfered end allows positive nut location and entry, reducing the likelihood of slippage during application. A hole for a driving accessory with locking pin is incorporated into the design to secure drive attachments during use. Manufactured to DIN 3124/ISO 2725 and DIN 3120/ISO 1174 specifications, this socket meets internationally recognised dimensional and performance standards. The socket is supplied loose as a single unit, making it suitable for extending an existing set or replacing a specific size. Knurled band provision varies across the range; individual socket sizes may feature a knurled band for additional hand grip when manoeuvring by hand.
