Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, and chrome plated, the socket delivers robust corrosion resistance suited to demanding workshop and industrial environments. The chamfered end ensures positive nut location and easy entry onto fastener heads, reducing the risk of slippage during high-load applications. A hole for a driving accessory with a locking pin provides added security when used with compatible drive tools, helping to retain the socket on the drive throughout operation. Manufactured to DIN 3124/ISO 2725 and DIN 3120/ISO 1174 specifications, this socket meets recognised international dimensional and performance standards. The socket is supplied individually (sold loose), allowing it to be added as a single replacement or supplementary size to an existing set. Note that knurled band grip is present on some sizes within the range.
