The 6-point internal profile engages the full face of a fastener hex rather than concentrating force at the corners, reducing the risk of rounding under high-torque applications. The deep-reach geometry enables access to recessed or studded fasteners that a standard-depth socket cannot reach. A black phosphate surface finish provides a degree of corrosion protection suited to workshop and industrial environments. The socket is designed for use with a 3/4-inch square drive and is supplied complete with a ring and pin retaining assembly to secure it to the drive tool.
