The Draper HI-TORQ® 6 Point Deep Impact Socket (SKU 5055) is forged from hardened chrome molybdenum steel, a material chosen specifically for its strength and resistance to the shock loads generated by electric and pneumatic impact wrenches. The deep profile accommodates fasteners that sit proud of a surface or require extended reach, while the 6-point contact geometry engages squarely with hex fasteners to reduce the risk of rounding. A black phosphate finish provides a degree of corrosion protection, helping to maintain the socket in workshop conditions where moisture and contaminants are commonplace. This socket is designed for use with 3/4" square drive impact wrenches and is sized at 23mm. It is supplied complete with a ring and pin retaining assembly to secure it to the drive tool during use.
