The Draper HI-TORQ® Deep Impact Socket addresses this requirement through a construction forged from hardened chrome molybdenum steel, providing the strength and resilience needed for sustained impact use. The socket features a 6-point profile, which concentrates load across the full flat faces of a fastener rather than its corners, reducing the risk of rounding under load. A black phosphate finish is applied to every socket in the HI-TORQ® range to provide corrosion protection during storage and use in workshop environments. Designed for use with a 3/4" square drive, this 20mm deep socket is compatible with electric and pneumatic impact wrenches of that drive size. The deep profile makes it well suited to fasteners on extended studs or recessed bolt heads where a standard-depth socket would not reach.
