The Draper 50687 Round Head Reversible Ratchet in 1/2" square drive is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel, hardened and tempered throughout, and finished with a polished chrome-plated surface that provides corrosion protection in workshop environments. The 45-tooth ratchet mechanism delivers a fine 8-degree swing arc, allowing the tool to be used effectively where space is limited. A forward/reverse selector enables the drive direction to be changed without removing the ratchet from the fastener, improving workflow efficiency. A spring-loaded ball bearing retains sockets securely on the square drive, reducing the risk of sockets becoming dislodged during use. Manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN3122 and ISO3315 specifications, the 50687 meets recognised international standards for ratchet handles.
