The Elora 11938 Deep Bi-Hexagon Socket is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered and chrome plated, providing robust corrosion protection for long-term workshop use. The bi-hexagon (12-point) profile increases the number of engagement positions, allowing faster alignment with fastener heads in confined working conditions. The chamfered end facilitates positive nut location and entry, reducing the risk of slippage during initial fitment. A hole for a driving accessory spring-loaded ball is incorporated to retain the socket securely on the drive. The socket is supplied with a 1/2" square drive, an overall length of 80mm, and conforms to DIN 3124/ISO 2725 specifications, confirming dimensional and performance compliance with recognised industry standards. Sold loose as a single unit.
