The Draper 2744 Double Ended Wheel Nut Socket Set delivers five double-ended sockets spanning ten sizes — 17 x 17.5mm, 18.5 x 19.5mm, 19 x 21mm, 21 x 21.5mm, and 22 x 22.5mm — covering the range of lug nut dimensions found across most passenger and light commercial vehicles. The 6-point hex ends work in conjunction with radiused socket corners to apply force to the flat sides of each lug nut rather than its corners, preventing fastener round-off under load. The thin wall construction allows access in confined wheel arches and tight hub areas where a standard-depth socket would foul, and each socket includes a protective sleeve to prevent marking or scoring of aluminium alloy wheels during fitting and removal. Manufactured from chrome molybdenum steel with a black phosphate finish, the sockets are built to withstand the demands of impact wrench use as well as hand operation via the 1/2" square drive. The 7-piece set includes all five double-ended sockets, a 3" 1/2" Sq. Dr. impact extension bar, and a punch bar, all housed in a sturdy plastic storage case for organised workshop or mobile storage.
