The Draper HI-TORQ® 1" square drive 90mm impact socket is forged from hardened chrome molybdenum steel, a material chosen for its ability to withstand the high-torque stresses generated by electric and pneumatic impact wrenches. The 6-point socket profile maximises contact with fastener flats, reducing the risk of rounding under load during heavy-duty workshop and industrial applications. A black phosphate finish is applied to each socket to provide corrosion protection, helping to extend service life in workshop environments where moisture and contamination are common concerns. The 90mm size makes this socket particularly suited to larger fasteners encountered in commercial vehicle, agricultural, and heavy plant maintenance. Each socket is supplied complete with a ring and pin retaining assembly, securing it firmly to the 1" drive impact wrench and preventing accidental release during operation. This socket is designed exclusively for use with impact wrenches and should not be used with standard hand-drive tools.
