The Draper HI-TORQ® Impact Socket (SKU 8504) is designed precisely for that environment, offering a 1-inch square drive and a 75 mm socket size to tackle heavy-duty bolting and unbolting tasks. Forged from hardened chrome molybdenum steel and featuring a 6-point internal profile, this socket delivers secure engagement on fasteners whilst distributing torque evenly to reduce the risk of rounding. The black phosphate finish provides a degree of corrosion protection suited to the demanding conditions of workshop use. Compatible with both electric and pneumatic impact wrenches fitted with a 1-inch square drive, the socket is supplied complete with a ring and pin retaining assembly to keep it securely attached to the drive tool during operation. The ring and pin retention system is the correct fitment for 1-inch drive impact applications, replacing less secure locking arrangements found on smaller drives.
