A black phosphate finish is applied to the exterior, providing a degree of corrosion protection suited to workshop and industrial environments. The socket is designed for use with a 1-inch square drive and carries a 25mm size, making it appropriate for larger fasteners encountered in automotive, heavy vehicle, and industrial applications. Each socket is supplied complete with a ring and pin retaining assembly, allowing secure attachment to the impact wrench anvil during use. The ring and pin retention method is the standard for 1-inch drive impact sockets and helps prevent the socket from being ejected under load.
