The body is constructed from steel with full chrome plating, providing corrosion resistance suited to workshop environments. Two hardened jaws grip the tap securely and are replaceable, extending the service life of the tool when jaw wear occurs over time. The wrench accepts taps in the M3 to M8 range, corresponding to a jaw capacity of 2.0 to 5.0 mm, making it suitable for the most commonly used metric tap sizes across automotive, engineering and general workshop applications.
