The Sealey TRM8 Thread Repair Kit provides a reliable solution, creating a stronger internal thread in soft metals and protecting tapped threads against ongoing wear and damage. The kit includes everything needed to complete the repair: a drill bit, thread tap, insert installation tool, and lug breaking tool. Three different insert lengths are supplied 6mm, 9mm, and 12mm, with five of each covering a range of repair requirements. The thread size is M8 x 1.25mm. Replacement inserts are available separately under part number TRM8R. The complete kit is supplied in a storage case for organised, safe keeping.
