The instrument supports resistance measurement across three ranges — 400Ω, 4.000kΩ and 40.00kΩ — alongside diode on/off testing and a continuity buzzer for fast circuit verification. An analogue bar-graph scale supplements the backlit LCD screen, allowing dynamic signal fluctuations to be read at a glance. Data hold and automatic power-off functions are also included, reducing battery consumption during longer sessions. The unit requires 6 x AAA batteries, which are not supplied. Dimensioning at 218mm x 200mm x 74mm and weighing approximately 774g, the set is supplied complete with a carry case for protected storage and transport between locations.
