Trailers and caravans left unattended are vulnerable to opportunist theft — a dedicated hitch lock is one of the most effective first-line deterrents available. The Draper 99663 is a universal tow hitch lock engineered for 50mm tow ball trailers and caravans, providing a robust physical barrier against unauthorised coupling. The lock features a cast steel body for structural rigidity under attack, paired with a fully removable 13mm steel bar that secures directly over the tow ball hitch head. The bright yellow finish serves a dual purpose: it maximises visibility as a highly visible theft deterrent, and it makes the security device immediately apparent to any would-be thief before an attempt is even made.Fitment is straightforward — the lock is simple to fit and is supplied with two keys, ensuring a spare is always available. The universal design means compatibility across the broad range of 50mm tow ball trailer and caravan hitches in common use. Each unit weighs 0.85 kg and is supplied as a single 50mm hitch lock ready for immediate use. No additional components are required for installation.
