The Draper HI-TORQ® 6-point impact socket set (SKU 63483) addresses this with sockets forged from hardened chrome molybdenum steel, a material chosen for its toughness and resistance to the shock loads generated by impact drivers. A black phosphate finish provides a layer of corrosion protection across all eleven pieces. The set covers eleven metric sizes — 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24 and 27 mm — on a 1/2" square drive, making it well suited for a wide range of fastener sizes encountered in automotive, commercial vehicle and workshop environments. The 6-point socket profile maintains consistent contact across the flats of the fastener, reducing the likelihood of rounding under impact loading. Each socket is supplied organised within an EVA drawer insert tray measuring 138 x 270 x 42 mm. The tray is suitable for use in Draper and Draper Expert tool chests, as well as similar products from other manufacturers, enabling the set to integrate directly into an existing workshop storage system without requiring additional fitment. The pre-formed EVA foam holds each socket securely, supporting fast identification and ensuring the full complement is accounted for at a glance.
