Running mains-powered equipment from a 12V vehicle or leisure battery is a challenge without a reliable inverter. The Sealey PI1500 Power Inverter converts 12V DC drawn from cars, caravans, boats, or commercial vehicles into a continuous 230V AC supply at 50Hz, with a continuous output of 1500W and a peak output of 3000W. Two 3-pin 230V sockets deliver mains power where you need it, while two USB ports provide a combined 5V 2.1A output for device charging. An LCD screen displays output wattage, input voltage, and battery level at a glance, so you always know what your system is doing. The aluminium body features four mounting points for permanent installation, and a near-silent cooling fan keeps noise to a minimum. Safety is covered by overload shutdown, audible low voltage alarm, thermal shutdown, and short circuit shutdown. Supplied complete with 1m battery cables, a wired remote control, and an in-line fuse kit. Supply connection is via battery terminal leads; maximum supply draw is 135A at 12V DC. Dimensions: 351 x 170 x 88mm (W x D x H).
