A flat battery at the wrong moment can leave you stranded whether you're on a job, on a commute, or far from help. The Sealey RS800 RoadStart® jump starter is a compact 12V lithium-ion power pack capable of delivering 800A peak and 400A cranking current, giving you enough power to start an average 6-litre petrol or 4-litre diesel engine without needing another vehicle or a mains connection. Measuring just 88 x 33 x 158mm, it fits easily in a glove box or backpack, so it's always where you need it. The 10,000mAh lithium-ion battery (37Wh) also doubles as a power bank with a 5V/2.1A USB Type-A output for charging phones and small electronic devices, and accepts charge via a 5V/1.5A Micro USB input. Built-in protections cover short circuit, overload, and reverse polarity, and the unit meets IP66 waterproof rating specifications. An integral LED flashlight adds further roadside utility. Clamp cables measure 385mm in length, and the RS800 is supplied in a hard-shell zip-up case for storage and protection.
